Aerial photography is taking photographs of the Earth from an elevated position. In aerial photography, anything on the ground is taken as a subject and shot without using any kind of Zoom or zoom lenses. It is also called as Sky View Photography or Bird Eye photography. The term usually refers to images where the camera is not supported by a structure on land. The cameras can be portable or mounted, and photographs can be taken by a photographer, triggered remotely or triggered automatically. Platforms for aerial photography include fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, balloons, blimps and dirigibles, rockets, kites, poles, parachutes, vehicle mounted terminals. Aerial photography should not be confused with Air-Air Photography when aircraft are used for both a platform for image and object. It’s a spectacular presentation of large scale photographs of astonishing natural landscapes. Every stunning aerial photograph tells a story about our changing planet.
